Did someone use Aspex to accelerate DVD encoding?

Usually we encode DVD by software codec, and it will cost much time.
Aspex acceleration card can encode DVD (HD-DVD) by hardware.
It supports MPEG-2/H.264/VC-1 while there's only windows driver.

What do you think about transfer Aspex on Mac OS X?
So we can accelerate the process of encoding DVD and exporting from Final Cut Pro.
