Hardware: Fast DV to DVD transfer
Hi everyone,
I'm currently looking at options for quick DV tape to DVD conversion. I'd like to find something where I can connect my camera/insert a tape, hit a button, and pick up the finished DVD when it's done. Something nice and simple with good visual results. More advanced options would also come in handy from time to time. I've looked at the JVC SR-DVM70. Does anyone have an opinion on this piece of equipment? Anyone have an better suggestion? All comments and suggestions are most welcome! |

Hi Aaron. I added a comment in the Z1/FX1 forum that seems somewhat related to your question.
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=66689 The fx-1 to the Panasonic vhs/dvd burner combo is pretty basic in regards to features, though (and the menu is not very visually appealling). It also dubs the DV to DVD in real-time. A dvd burner component like this could probably be found for $100-$200. Hope this helps. |

Also check this thread for stand alone hardware DVD burners.
