HDV to DVD recorder
I shoot interviews w/ a HD100 and have run into a problem. I usually make VHS copies of the interviews for my clients and give it to them w/ burned-in time code for logging. My latest clients have ditched their VCR and only have a DVD player. I decided to invest in a DVD recorder (Samsung DVD-VR330) and can make DVD's playing back DV tapes from my BR-HD50 through Firewire. However, when I try to play back my interviews shot in HDV, I can't do it. Is the BR50 unable to downconvert through Firewire? I haven't tried to go via S-Video or AV. I'm assuming that's an option, but I'd rather keep the signal digital. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks. |
