sony vx to DVD at DVinfo.net

Want ot buy a DVD wrighter. To wright DVD after shooting with camara editing with premiere and out put to DVD. Any advise bucause I don't like th quality of mpeg files. Will the DVD file help?

dvd files are actually mpeg files themselves. MPEG2. at least to the best of my knowledge this is the current compression format for DVD.though variable bit rates etc during encoding will yield better results or allow more footage to fit on disc.im sure someone of more knowledge can add on.
as far as dvd authoring for PC (if you are on PC) im not sure of . im a mac user myself. you could also look into the stand alone DVD recorders.
