How many DVD's per cartridge with R200?

I recieved my Epson R200 today and just in time - I will have to print around 50 DVD's over this weekend.

How many dvd/cd prints are the stock ink cartridges good for?

I need to know if I should go ahead and order so I don't run out in the middle of the weekend.

Full face or Text?
The R200 cartridges are relatively small, less ink than say a 900, I would get extra cartridges a.s.a.p if You doing so many.

Regards.

Brandon.

The un-opened cartridges don't 'go bad'... so there's no harm in having spares in the desk.

Hard to know what your mileage will be, depends on the label. Full color background images will eat up more ink than a simple text with a logo. And of course, Murphy's law dictates that you WILL run out of one color before the others... 'specially if you have a dominant color scheme. So count on buying some backups and replace each cartridge as necessary. I've gone through four "Blacks" and only one set of colors, but then I print screenplays with my printer too.

I can generally print around 200-250 full faced discs with one set.

Ok.
Thanks for the replies.

I will be printing full face with probably a black dominant color.
