I don't like the glossy paper. It sticks and looks spotty when it's placed in the DVD case. I like to use a photo quality non glossy paper myself.

Try designing the cover with a white background, thus hiding your borders? Just a thought...

www.neato.com has a 'software and downloads' section that has a ton of templates. |

I too have the Epson R200 and design all my covers in Photoshop CS. I purchased a cheap software called DVD&CD Print for $10 at http://www.northcardinal.com/productdvd.html
It tricks the printer into prinitng a full page image and works great everytime :)
