PC to Mac transfer via DVD
I'm using Adobe Premiere 6.0 for windows, and I want to send some footage to someone (in another state) with a Mac running iMovie ('don't know what version). Since it will be a collection of short clips, I should be able to fit them all onto DVD or even several CDRs. Could someone please recommend a common file format to use? Premiere uses DV AVI files natively -- I'm not sure about Quicktime support on the PC side.
This is just a one-time thing. If all else fails I could send it on MiniDV tape ('just figured disc-based was the safest way since we use different brands of tape).

OK, that's kinda what I was expecting, but I thought I'd ask and see if iMovie might be able to import AVI's (I think someone with Premiere for Mac was able to do that once).
Thanks!
