Vegas+DVD Suite or Vegas+3rd Party DVD Software
1) Did you purchase Vegas 5.0 alone or the Vegas DVD Suite?
2) If you bought Vegas 5.0 alone, what software are you using to create DVD for your films? Thanks for your time. |

Vegas + DVD
DVD Architect is a very good authoring program AND it give Vegas the AC3 encoder (sold separately for around $180.)

Kevin, when I played around with the 30 day free trail of Vegas 5 I used my Roxio Easy Creater 6 to do DVD's. Then I purchased the Vegas 5 +DVD. Wow, a very big difference. For the extra mony go for the whole package. Bob

Due to Sony Educational License Resellers removing Vegas 5+DVD from their catalogs, what DVD software would you recommend to go along with Vegas 5?

Kevin, I still recommend DVDA (even if you have to "upgrade" and pay the difference). The main reason is that this also gets you the AC3 encoder allowing you to do stereo or 5.1 AC3 in Vegas.
