PAL & NTSC DVD question

I am interested in purchasing a DVD from Britain which is a PAL format. I am in America and am wondering if this will play on my computer. Please respond.

Its more really a question of regions. Most DVD players should be able to cope with NTSC or PAL disks.

America is in region 1 and the UK is in region 2. I know that in the UK you can get multi region DVD settop players, I think its the same in america all though I am not certain.

As for your PC I think you get 5 chances of changing the DVD region after those 5 chances you will not be able to change it again.

Then again you could probably get software that will change it back???

Hope this helps,
