Audio synchronization problem after export to dvd (compliant format) from HD
Audio synchronization problem after export to dvd (compliant format) from HD
Synopsis: -A previously used tape (once or twice, in HD, I don't know it this matters or not) was used to record some footage, around 30 minutes or so. Each take ranges from 30 seconds to 2 minutes or so. -The footage was imported to Adobe Premiere Pro. using the Main concept plugin (all in one shot), the file was around 4GB. When the original (HD) file was played back using Windows Media player, or MPLAYER http://mplayerhq.hu (or any other player) audio and video were in perfect synchronization, throughout. -Once the footage (all 30 minutes, without any editing) was exported to dvd (dvd compliant presets "non-drop frames", whatever the defaults are for main concept or using the ADOBE "export to DVD" option) and then played back the audio/video goes out of synchronization around the 10 minute mark. At the 12 minute mark the video is leading the audio at about 1.5 seconds. -If the footage is cut up and exported in smaller chunks the problem seems to disappear. What could be the cause of this? Best regards, Chris. |
