DVD Studio Pro 3

Hey, I noticed that the latest version of DVD Studio Pro was released reciently and I was wondering if anyone had purchased it and used it. I have been considering buying it soon and I was wondering if the upgrades are worth the price.

Thanks,
Brian Wood

Thats funny because the apple store is saying shipping "same business day" when u go and try and order it. Or maybe apple has not yet sent out all their pre-orders yet.

Yeah it's out. Been shipping for a while in the UK.

Should you upgrade? depends on your needs I guess. Check out the feature list and choose!

It's got graphical view back but different. No menu loop point jump back still. Not sure about dvd-9 issue yet! 5.1 audio seems to be fixed. Don't think there are any sector errors. Pan-scan menu bug is fixed.

It's got some new transitions menu type of shin dig which you might like or not depending on your dvd level! It now supports DTS audio import also, but don't go rushing in for that feature yet cause it seems buggy and Sonics are working with no problem so hold off on dvdsp and DTS till things are sorted.

It's not had a major interface over haul like 1-2 which is good so you can get upto speed pretty fast,
