I have a Casio CW50 and have been pleased with it. I get about 50 discs with a $7 ribbon. Half that if you print top and bottom. You can buy the cheapest discs too. They must be absolutely plain though - no silk screening. You cannot use the special discs made for ink jets either. It's easier and faster than a felt tip - only about ten seconds for a top only label.

Had some CD's I made a few years ago with stick-on labels. They began peeling at the edge - disastrous!
