Dual layer or dual dvd delivery
Hello.
I have some video - about 3 hours - that I am converting to DVD. It can easily be placed on a dual layer disc but I am leery of using DVD-DLs because of stability and the fact that some older players just plain won't play them. Does anyone deliver on dual-layer or just use a 2 disc package? Thanks Jim |

If it is a replicated DVD-9 for something like retail distribution you can certainly do 3 hours. If it is for low-run duplication or just delivering a single copy to someone I recommend 2 DVD-Rs rather than any dual/double-layer media, because of the compatibility issues and playback uncertainty.

Benjamin,
Thanks - that's what I was thinking. I'd rather avoid the hassle. The client agreed to two dvds so that's the way I'll go. Jim |
