Producing DVD from show

I have recently taped a show. i did the same christmas show last year and last year it was a little over an hour (1:20 or so) and i created a two dvd set.

This year i was told it would be about the same as last year but it was quite a bit longer. Almost 2 hours.

I never checked into this. What is the maximum i can fit on a DVD. I am using Vegas 4.0 and DVD architect 2.0

I need to try to figure out where to cut the video.

Thanks for any tips

Mike

Michael.

Two hours is not a problem. You should get good quality video and audio. I am not familiar with Vegas or Architect as I am a mac user.

I think the bit rate will be set around 5. If you are able to compress the sound to AC3 it will alllow more space for the video as well.
