Frame rate for DVD? Getting The Stutters...

I know this has been discussed before- Can someone show me a thread that discusses what frame rate to use when going to dvd from a 24p timeline? I am noticing a stuttering in the video- it looks like every 5th frame is duplicated.
I used a Canon XH-A1 and shot in 24f.

Thanks.

Hi

For material that is in a native 24fps timeline (ie no pulldown) I make 24fps m2v's and put them straight onto the DVD.

On playback most (all) DVD players I've come across will add pulldown for NTSC output ... or display true 24 on screens equipped to deal with it.

But I don't have a wide distribution target ... campus and students...
