Copy/Backup DVD

Hey, Guys! I've been trying to make a copy of a DVD+R for a friend, and I'm wondering if there are any free programs out there that actually work. I used to have some Sonic programs on my old computer, and one of them copied my DVDs nicely. Sadly, I don't have that any more.

Thanks,

Dale
