Well, well, well Trond:
You are mastering your artistic craft and have produced beautiful films as of late! Well done friend. I would say this is almost like looking at a painting, art for art's sake. This is a small detail, but I was intrigued by your technique at the very beginning where you zoom out from the wind blown building and fade to another cut of the building while maintaining the zoom. Hmmm, food for thought there! That was cool! Your description of the troll could be taken from the Encyclopedia Britanica! You have in-depth knowledge of such a variety of things. Thanks for enriching my life with all you do! Cat |

My thoughts echoed both Chris B's and Linda's in equal measure.
The intermediate focus point in your rack focus on the branch was interesting and delightful. The music was tranquil and matched your pretty images well. Nicely done. Thank you. Chris Swanberg ps. For those commenting on tennis rackets as snow shoes for tripods.... Bogen DOES make tripod snowshoes that fit most ALL tripods, and they are pretty inexpensive. I'll be using mine this weekend (God willing) in the Caliornia high Sierra. |

Tom,
Thank you for the feedback. The troll figure you see in the video is about 7ft tall. Yes, the intention was to first show how harch the cold can be, and then move on to more pieceful images of the forest and river. The idea of using plywood sounds good. Hmm, now I need some plywood in my backpack too, haha. :) Hugh, I'm glad you liked the video. Thank you for the comment. It's interesting to see how different videos the uwol and dvc people make out of the same theme. Catherine, Thank you very much for the feedback! I am very glad you like it. Chris, Thank you for the info about the snow shoes for the tripod. That is definitely something I will look into soon. |
