The sound problem was all my fault, William. Just fixed it and enjoyed Love Bites (for third time) all the more. Still comes over neat and understated. Looking forward to your next movie.

BTW the bits I missed even on second viewing without the sound were:

- That you had been "vampired" in bed
- That the surgical dressing referred precisely to that event & time

... so I assumed on second viewing that you had got bitten somehow.

My sister who saw it without sound said it went completely over her head. Guess my advantage was that Boss Croker (& Samuel Beckett) used to live just up the road here from Leopardstown.
