The deal with e-mailing each other
Okay, looks like there's a been problem with this board's e-mail function. You guys can't seem to e-mail each other, and the only user out of all of us who has an e-mail button at the bottom of their posts is... me. So I'm checking into it, and will let all y'all know what's up that.

Chris,
I've set up a message board for my company that is similar to this. Probably somewhere in your config file there's a checkbox for enabling e-mail. While you're there, you might look for a checkbox that enables outside links...so that when anyone puts in a full web address it'll automatically become a link that opens a new window. Just a humble request from someone who has cut and pasted a lot of URLs from various threads. :) |

I'm wondering, Chris, If I can disable the "Email notification"
being on by default. I rarely use it since I just few all the new threads. Now I have to click it off for every post... Thanks
