Free issue of Showreel
Hello all
We're still recovering from the launch of the US edition of Showreel magazine at NAB. Thanks to those of you who picked up a copy at the JVC stand or from the buckets in the lobby. Over 4,000 issues were taken before the end of the third day. Nice to meet a few of you there, though I can't promise to remember everyone as the 18 hour days certainly took their toll! If any of your guys would like to receive future issues (the next one will be published in time for Cinegear LA next month), simply send me an email with your address details and we'll add you to the list. The next issue will be structured similarly to the existing European edition and include a section called Directors' Notes where we review independent shorts, movies, promos and docs that have yet to receive distribution or are on the festival circuit. As in Europe the magazines are sent to the distribution companies, agents, festival organisers, etc. We have found this to be very successful for filmmakers. If you have work that you would like to see reviewed, drop me email and I'll send you the details of where to send it. Best Denise denise@showreel.org |
