Search problems?
Am I the only one or are others having problems using the search facilities within any forum?
I can use the 'main' search button from the screen containing the list of forums, but when I enter a forum neither the main search button or the search within forum button works. There is also an error on the page. I am using IE 6 on XP Home with SP2. Also using XP Pro with SP2 on a laptop. Same problem. Cheers. Ian . . . |

Yeah, it's a problem that everyone is having. I'm back in the office on Monday and will get it sorted out as soon as possible.

FYI, in addition to going to the home page:
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf to click a working SEARCH link, it looks like at least for me on my Windows computer, Right-Click>>Open in New Window will bring up the Advanced Search page in a new window even if just left-clicking the search link doesn't work on a particular page.

Assuming the problem I'm having is the same or similar?
From within any forum I can't click on the 'Forum Tools' or the 'Search This Forum' links (well, I can actualy click on them, but nothing happens). Actually, when I click on any forum link, when the page loads I get an error in the bottom left of IE):
http://thegospelofgroove.com/img/DVINFO%20Error.jpg *Yes, right clicking and choosing open in a new window seems to work, but that's kinda weird that only me, or only a few of us have this problem... is this a known issue with IE (6.0) and PHP or something? |

Chris - I'm still having problems with search. Any chance the problems some are having are related to anti-spyware or pop-up blockers that some networks have?

Oy. Looks like we'll have to check under the hood again.
