Thread popup preview questions
Hey all,
In Windows XP if I hover the mouse cursor over a thread subject, I get a one line preview of the thread, which is great. However, in Vista, it pops up a (relatively) huge rectangle previewing much more of the thread, which sounds better perhaps, but it obscures the following subjects, which is annoying. Is there any way to change the preview size? I've searched and searched and can't find anything. |

No way to change the size, but I can make the popup preview function a user-selectable feature (your choice to have it on or off). But it's gotta wait until I get back from NAB.

Vito, do you use an older version of XP, or an other browser than IE? Maybe this can explain the differences you describe? |

I think you got it. I'm using IE in Vista, but Firefox in XP. I just tried IE in XP and got the big rectangle, so it's just the browser that controls the preview.
Thanks for the hint! |

I generally use FireFox on XP all the time and also have several other browsers for checking DV Info Net's appearance, however I have never seen the site through IE on Vista. Can someone post a screen grab of the oversized thread preview pop-up? Here's how it looks to me using IE7 on XP.

I was going to post a XP-IE7 reference screengrab, but you got first Chris.
That's exactly how it appears for me also. |

Hi guys.........
Think this is an option in your respective browsers which changes the way said browser treats the Google (or whomever's) "cache" of the selected page.
Now, if only I can find where that "option" is hidden............ CS |
