Speaking of special titles, I'd like to know the story behind "Slash Rules".

Before we went to real names only, that was what Josh Bass had registered under... his sig was "Master control sucks -- slash rules!" Don't know if that means he's a big GNR fan or not, but I thought it was an appropriate custom title.

Oh, and there was me wondering how much or what you had to do to become an Air China Pilot!

Good question, Nigel... ask Keith Loh! It was his idea.

Nice write-up Chris.
By the way, can I borrow the Ford this Friday night? ;-) |

Boyd,
If you can make it down here by then, and promise to bring it back with a full tank, then you're welcome to use it. ;-) |

Air China Pilot speaks

Before real names were requested that's what I registered my username under. I'm happy to keep it as my custom title, though. :) And before the question comes, no, I am not a pilot. Nor am I associated with Air China. I just chose that name a couple years back for most of my forum posting at the time because there were two Air China incidents within the same month that symbolized my attitude. 'Damn the weather and just land the thing.' Also look up the term: 'involuntary conversions'.

Keith:
<< Also look up the term: 'involuntary conversions'. >> Sounds about as dire as "abrupt excursions." Those aren't pleasant, either. |
