Wow
Wow, usually someone has tried to bribe me to find out what the theme will be this time!
Juuuuust kidding. Thought I'd check in an see how people are doing with their pre-DVC8 plans.

I'm looking forward to hearing the theme, but thinking more about Vegas and NAB! Maybe I'll come up with an idea I can shoot in Vegas. Should be some great locations there! Leaving the XLH1 at home but bringing the HV20! Theme comes out of Friday the 13th, hummmm, any hint there?
I hope to meet a lot of new friends this year, and see some old ones again. Mike

Please, anything but horror. "Bad Luck" might be fun though. The theme "Triskaidekaphobia" would be so wide open it would probably result in some very interesting movies.

j/k Any theme will do... I'm sure I can add an evil twist somehow. Cheers, Mike |

We just got a new puppy...and I'm spending most of my free time working with her...
So any theme I can use puppy training in would be great! Bob T.

I'd lobby for horror
After my Blue in DC movie I had someone pitch a horror film idea for Blue to star in (think of what a dog might find most horrific) so I'd love an excuse to actually shoot it.

Mixing genre with theme?
Not that Dylan can’t do whatever he wants (and he does :) but in the last seven Challenges the genre has been open. Just an observation from a satisfied participant.
Getting back to the other topic, my DVC8 pre-planning is the same as always--no planning at all...and it shows. :)

HIGHLY ANTICIPATING my first DV Challenge now. Coming off my first ever challenge in UWOL #2, I'm eager to have another shot so quick. Any rule info. yet? (aside standard)

Well, I won't be announcing a genre for this one, just a one word theme as always. If you want to do a horror, go for it.
