yeah, Dick. The script you wrote had 4 actors. The script I went with had 2. And still only 1 person showed up. They all claimed to be ill. Bah humbug. December is such a bad month for that.

You should shoot yours later. I really liked it.

Kris

Welcome to my world! Had a great idea and script for DV#2, but one of the actors did not show up. Had to use blank screen with an explanation in her place and of course that ruined it. Dylan sent me a special award for "Best Comedy!" It is framed and on my wall!

Some day I will be able to put together a cast and do a real shoot.

Yeah, but at least I didn't put in some impossible to find lead, like a three-legged dog!

Actually, I teach acting to a bunch of people. So that's the one thing I can generally find. But I do need to win me a tushy-pushy dolly.

If you didn't notice, our running total is up to $704!!!

Thanks to everyone who contributed, it's pretty amazing how quickly it all adds up, especially considering last years total was $500ish!

Dylan, I'm still looking to donate, I'm just having a problem due to the fact that I don't use credit cards online.

I've had my identity stolen once, and I won't dare risk that sort of thing again.

Any other way of sending the funds?

Mike

Mike,

No worries, just mail your small, unmarked bills to my P.O. Box. I'll then forward your donation to Dylan. At this point in time, minimum donations are floored at $250. So since it's for charity, just go ahead and mail me a couple hundred bucks. I'm sure I can spend...er...I mean the charity could use that money well!

Totally kidding, nothing in this reply is real, except for my willingness to accept money...

I have a similar situation. Need a "snail mail" address where I can send a check.

Don't know if your bank has it but my bank has something called "e-card", short for electronic card. Basically every time I am going to do an online payment I generate a new unique cardnumber with the amount I set. It can be set to only be valid for one purchase, one month et c. It's very neat esp for websites you are insecure about handing your money.

Will double check, is the Paypal account under your name?

As for everyone else who wants to donate, two choices: one you can mail it to me, two you can wait until the winner is announced and mail it directly to the chairty.
Let me know which you all prefer. I'm getting a new mailling address next week, so I will post it Wednesday.

I'll mail a check as soon as you post or provide an address. If you want to send the address to me by email rather than post in public (here) I will check my profile and be sure my email address is available.

Merry Christmas! Everyone!!!
