DVC and Stage6
I just found about Stage6, which is a service a lot like Youtube but with amazingly high-quality DivX videos. Anyone can make an account and upload any size (minutes or MB) video that looks gorgeous full sceen. The best part is they load in under 5 seconds!
The only downside is that people would have to download DivX Web Player, but it's only a 1MB download if you already have DivX. If you don't have DivX, get it! (it can be used for other things too, like burning very nice dvds) Anyway, download it and see what I mean. There are a lot of really well made videos on there. Web Player: http://www.divx.com/divx/webplayer Videos: http://stage6.divx.com/videos If anyone's interested in seeing a DivX video I have on my website, check this out: http://www.mumps.ca/poser.html (you probably won't like the music but it's the quality and loading time I'm trying to show you) edit: I completely forgot to mention that the whole point of posting this was that Stage6 could be a great place to host DVC videos. It's HDV-compatable, loads very quickly, uploaders keep all their rights... Your thoughts?

I saw this post earlier and since created an account with Stage6. This site looks very promising and perfect for DVC. Installing the needed plug in to view the video was quick, and the video loads in almost no time. Good find Mark.
