Okay, I broke the news to my kids, Ektachrome didn't make the cut. Go figure. Apparently my cinematic choice to have BAD LIGHTING, and a story with NO PLOT wasn't fully appreciated. Seems the judges want the GOOD LIGHTING, GOOD PICTUES, GOOD STORY, GOOD ACTING, GOOD AUDIO stuff.
In spite of the narrow artistic vision of the current judging staff, the kids want to have a go at DVC4! Count us in!!! |

Have any dates for the next one been decided? I'm guessing around Holloween is not going to pan out, just because it's less than two weeks away.

Yes sir, the check is in the mail." |

I'm thinking a week or two into November. I have to pick a week I know I can take mostly off so I can pay proper attention to running it, which means I have to work out my schedule for Nov. I kind of shot myself in the foot on the last one by pushing all my work back until after it was over, and then going crazy trying to catch up. Still haven't caught up. I think I'll have a date by Friday.

Either that or "I'm so sick of candy I could puke" themed, which might be more appropriate after Halloween! :)

A vote for no sooner than the 17th of November
I got pulled into a play, Deathtrap, which opens the weekend of the 18th. If you do DVC4 any earlier than the 17th, I'll be unable to edit, (due to rehearsal schedule), so here's a vote for MID November!

So, what's up for DVC4? Any dates likely at this point Dylan? I know you are still recovering from DVC3.
Ack. Just read your message about November. Still a horror piece. You know me, I'm up for it. Stocking up on Latex and "Faux Sang" for this one...hint. No chainsaws in this one. I'm trying to go into it without preconceived notions of how it will be. Waiting until "the word" is released. "Fluffy Bunnies" still sounds to me like a good horror flick. Sean McHenry
