It better be good. Us video camera users are gonna bring it!!
Okay i can't speak for everyone, but I will! Plus i can't wait to see how creative 5D2 users get with that cameras unique features. I'm hoping to get blown away enough to go further into debt. |

Jay... try being in MY shoes. Chris B and I shoot together in our little production group here in Sacramento. He of course recently acquired the Canon 5D2... and we have done some shoots together with it. We BOTH are going to enter this challenge individually. I declared that assuming he was going to use the 5D2 for his, *I* was going to use the Z1 for mine, (and secretly maybe try using his 35mm adapter - he doesn't know of this idea yet so keep it quiet)... yet, looking at the footage we are getting with the 5D2, I keep thinking on scenes where the DOF would be valuable, MAYBEEE I might ... well... you know. It's a "slippery slope". We also have a pretty good selection of Nikon glass for it as well....
It's like being outside a bakery and smelling the smells and then eating 3 day old flatbread. |

I think its just you and I Dylan. I vote for yours as winner. Very artistic, and very demonstrative about the capabilities of this camera !
