That's a nice feeling.
I have my story/characters/scenes lined up, but my writer is too busy this week to write and now I'm left to figure out Final Draft. Oh well...

Got the call from the editor today... "You have heavy audio dropouts over the final 2/3rds of this. You're f---ed."
Yup. I'm going to blame the camera operator, who was (supposed to be) listening in to the audio. Anyway, Saturday was the only free day I had to shoot before the contest ended... so I'm out... failed... done... Hey, at least I have a copy of Penthouse Letters and a bottle of scotch to cheer me up!

Oh NO ! ! !
Now I am feeling guilty about my jealousy on your early completion. I hope I don't have some kind of voodoo doll powers....

Man, that really stinks, D. I’m glad you have some *ahem* diversions to cheer you up.
Stinks for me, too--when I saw that you were in it I was hoping for a reprise of some sort from DVC4. ;)

Can't ADR? Gosh, even with another actor maybe. I'll open my whole library of sound effects for you too if you need them. I'm an old theater major so it's just inconceivable that something can't be fixed. The show MUST go on!

I was toying with ADR... Got relatives coming into town in a couple days for a loooong weekend, and a ton of other stuff on my plate. I might just pull out a classic Dylan move and do a single cam, solo shoot the day it is due. Sure wish we went with "couches" as a theme. :)

Do it as a silent movie, interspersing old timey text between scenes.
