So you made a dolly. How do you transport it??
I mean, the platform is no problem; the track is!
I have 6 sections of 5ft PVC 1.2" pipe track, plus splices, plus end fittings, plus shims... Is there a bag long enough to fit that stuff for transportation?? |

I use a freedom golf bag shipping case:
http://www.golfjoy.com/SKB/Hard-Soft...ravel_Case.htm 5 feet is a touch too long, but if you cut your track down to 4' 6": the top of the shipping case slides over the bottom, overlapping it by about a foot. that extra foot gives you enough room to put 4 1/2 foot lengths track in if you strap the case around the outside (or gaffer tape it). I found mine at Sport Chalet for $65 bucks, and you can fit an amazing amount of stuff in there and it has wheels for easy transport. Dan Selakovich www.DVcameraRigs.com |

Dan, love your web site :)
and thanks for the link. I found the solution: it's a 70" Snowboard bag. Didn't receive it yet, but I'm pretty confident it'll work fine. |

Thanks alex! Where did you get the snowboard bag? I'm always looking for solutions for hauling!
