Dolly using extension ladder
I've been surfing all afternoon for dolly solutions and I found one unique DYIer that I haven't seen before.
This guy in Victoria, B.C. came up with a system that uses an extension ladder as the track. Take a look here: http://www.csc.ca/news/default.asp?aID=977 From the Canadian Society of Cinematographers site.

It is concievable that it was an original idea for all parties. We can't always asume the negative.
The UK version is very well thought out. An arrangement like that would work well with a tubular track as well. |
