The Original Slider
Saw this product at NAB in use at the Canon booth:
http://www.theslider.com/3foot.html Anybody have a clue what the price of the small one would be? Must be a lot, as their site only has rental rates and you have to email for purchase prices. I played with it for a bit and it was solid as a rock - the small 3 footer would be extremely useful - but I'm afraid it'll break the bank! I'll post the price if they ever respond to my email. |

got a very nice email back from the owner (a steadycam and DP based out of LA) and I was way off on the price. It's a solid piece of equipment, but clearly targeted at studios and big production companies.
The mini is being re-machined with a wider track, and will be 30 inches long...priced at 6k. You can guess that they go up from there. I knew it would be pricey, but it's way out of my league! |
