Need track/wheels for Africa
Looking for a easy to use track for use in Africa. Due to luggage space I really want to have a compact setup. I just saw the MRail but the track is too large for the airplane (I guess). Perhaps I can make tracks when I get to Africa and carry the wheels over there. Any ideas here? Thanks, Larry

Note about the MRail size... It is 1-1/2 meters (a bit under 5 feet):
http://www.mgrip.com/The%20Mrail.html Skis and Surfboards can go on airlines, so I suppose this could, too. If this is exactly what is needed, it be worth a call to the airlines involved and a visit to their websites. |

You also could take a look at my TwinDolly: it weighs 7 kilos and yet very stable and rigid (maybe a bit to heavy-made for your setup, it has been designed for the more heavy-35mm-camera's -with-zooms..) It runs on worldwide available rigging-truss or on TwinTube. Take a peak on my site: http://www.solidgripsystems.eu/tdsTwindolly.htm
Good Luck. Onno Perdijk |
