Release Forms
Anyone have a suggestion for a consent and release form for an amateur documentary?
The ones I've found on the net are for commercial projects and sound a bit intimidating. I know if I was asked to sign one I'd be wary. Maybe it's all in the way it's presented to the talent. |

Re: Release Forms
Unfortunately if it's ever going on TV you're probably going to need them. Tell the talent that's why you're asking and why it looks complicated. The (Australian) ABC endorsed ones should be more than adequate.

Re: Release Forms
Thanks for your reply Rainer.
My doco has almost no chance of ever being shown on TV, but that's a good line to give the talent. That this will be required if it ever does make it to TV. And those release forms, although similar to others I've found do appear a little less strong. Many I've seen sound like I'm asking them to give up their first born. |
