A Kid's Project -- Ideas please.

Hello everyone,
I need some help with a project that's happening on Wednesday, just two days from now. The project involves kids(age 3-5) at a school(non-profit), it is going to be a surprise for their teacher. Basically in April they are going to show this video to their teacher during a get together event. The kids are going to express how much they loved their teacher. How much fun it'sbeen going to class. So here are my questions, sorry if anything above didn't make any sense, I was a bit rushed since i'm at work. It's just a simple project for my friend's wife(school president).

1). What questions should I ask these kids?

2). As far as editing goes, should I follow a specific style?

3). Background music, effects?

4). Any other suggestions?

thanks again for reading.

Kalulu

Do you need a release form from the parents whose children appear in the video?

How about having the children each draw a picture showing what they like about the teacher and the school and then video tape them talking about their pictures? Get a good still of each picture to use as b-roll.

As for music, the children could together sing a song for the teacher, something they all know such as "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." This could be used at the beginning and again at the end of the video.
