Nature video shorts
I'm shooting a series of nature videos usually 3 - 5 minutes in length sometimes interspersed with interviews sometimes or just music throughout. Are there any good resources on nature video / doc methodology. I've been going into areas guerrilla style and trying to get the best looking video I can. I've been asked to produce shot lists for areas which I don't really know very well I'm not sure how to produce an accurate shot list without location scouting.

Not entirely sure what you mean by a shot list. Do you mean locations? Or do you mean a shot list of the sort you'd develop from a script or a story board? Nature video you pretty much shoot what's available to you and then figure out how to create a story with what you have.
