Squeezed image in Clipwrap conversion
I'm converting an m2t file to .mov and the image comes out squeezed. It's coming off a Motorola DVR through AVCVideo Cap. When I set the conversion to DV using the NTSC setting, I've tried it both as 4:3 and 16:9 and it seems to come out the same. What I'm transferring is a 35 minute silent film made in 1925 so I know the aspect ratio is probably 1:33. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Katherine - I think the most helpful thing would be to see a screenshot of the footage. There are a number of places where you can have odd squeezing with DV, depending on which application you're viewing it with, etc.
Could you drop a screenshot to dmsupport@divergentmedia.com so we can see what you're looking at? Also, to confirm, you're making the 4x3 / 16x9 adjustments during the capture, right? (We don't have a setting like that in clipwrap) |

The image projects perfectly
Before I sent you a screen shot, I wanted to see the image on my television...so there must be something in the QuickTime player that squeezes the image, because the DVD I made using the 4:3 ratio looks perfect on my 37" HDTV. I'm loving ClipWrap...
