What can CW2 do for me?
I am a Final Cut Express user. My camera is a Sony AVCHD, and I shoot in 1920x1080i 60. If it is important footage I will make a disk image of the files for back up purposes. I then do a log and transfer to FCE. I sometimes use a small 640x480 Apple Photo JPEG camera for underwater clips.
My question is, what benefits would Clip wrap 2 offer me over my current work flow? |

Tom,
You'll gain a few (albeit small) things: First, ClipWrap allows you to work from the mts files without the extra file structure - many users find it easier to archive just mts streams and not make disk images of the whole card. Second, ClipWrap can 'rewrap' clips extremely fast... so if you ever need to find a clip, or submit something to YouTube, or even put together simple cuts in qt player - you don't need to waste all the time transcoding to a much larger file format. mike -- Mike Woodworth mike@divergentmedia.com |
