digital edges
I posted on the xl2 forum that I was worried about getting blocky images. I watched a mainstream documentary called "when stand up stood out" and noticed there were times when the picture was blocky and very digital looking (you could really tell on the edges of things in the shot like the subjects shoulders and head outline). I know that when we have done short films in the past (using digital camcorders) when put to dvd we got that same problem.
Someone said it was a compression problem in post. Not sure what that means. Any help would be appreciated! |

You may reduce the issue by turn down your camera sharpness.
