hard disc players
Looking for hard disc players to use with an HD monitor at a convention. Considering this instead of Blu-Ray player. I know they are out there...

The Beyonwiz DP-P2 works off a hard drive and can also play from a USB port. This unit in particular is the one that I have and it's awesome. (The review is a few years old now.)
HDMI out will feed to your HD monitor beautifully. I suspect the best workflow would be to encode out to .mp4 and then feed it to the unit via a USB stick, playing direct from the USB port on the device. Andrew |
