How to Setup a site and charge for video views?
Hey guys, long time DVinfonetter here.....glad to see everyone is keeping this forum alive and growing.
Does anyone know of a site with info as to how I might setup my website so that people can pay to view my videos? I'm an airbrush artist and receive daily requests for techniques and I'd like to post instructional videos with a fee- perhaps payable via Paypal........anyone know how I might set this up? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all~ |

I found this with a quick Google search: www.movielocker.com.
However as a web developer, I'd suggest paying a capable web developer. ;) |

Great find Chris, thanks.
I will look into this MovieLocker........I'd like to keep as much control over the videos (keep them on my webservers) but if I have to go through a portal- that's fine. I was also hoping to avoid any type of payments to a service- but I'll look into my options........again thanks for the find! Steve |

If you're looking at a subscription based viewing model (rather than pay-per-view) you could look at using WordPress with a paid membership plugin. Here's a list of the top twenty: 20+ Wordpress Plugins for your Membership Site
