Epson Artisan 800 blues
I've been using my Epson Artisan 800 for about year and am mostly happy with its DVD printing capability. But I'm printing a LOT of DVDs for a customer who needs the label to be almost all blue, and a very specific blue (similar to the FedEx Kinkos blue, almost bright cyan) at that. The blues (and greens for that matter) on the 800 just aren't accurate. I've tried all settings, changing the color in the imported graphics, etc., but the cyan blue always comes out looking shades of powder/baby blue.
Does anyone have any suggestions for either: 1. Getting an accurate bright cyan blue out of an 800 -or- 2. Recommend a different DVD printer that'll give accurate blues. TIA, Bruce... |

Color intensity
I have been printing all my DVD,CD and BluRays on an Epson R1800 and I also find that none of the colors have the intensity I see on my usual Ultra Premium Presentation Matte paper. I still like the overall look but it may be impossible to do print-plant style color matching on consumer equipment.
