i'm having that problem with my european distribution, lol... but i would have thought that canada was more up to date, considering the huge influx of ntsc dvd players in america. guaranteed, tho, distribution on vhs is definitely dead here in the states... people down here are collecting dvd's like they used to collect cd's... that collector phenomenon never happened for vhs, but there were inklings of it with the laser disc crowd back in the day. thanks gints for the link... what a disappointment to not see the mainconcept encoder included in the shootout, but they did include a silly mac os9-only encoder?? what a joke... look at how many copies of adobe premiere have been sold! and they did not include tmpgenc in the blind performance test.... bzzzt! |
