Streaming 50P
Hey guys
I have a skateboarding clip on my computer thats ready to render out and upload onto my website. Im a bit confused as to whether I should render it out with the frame rate at 50P though. I wanted to have this clip Streaming off my site but Im thinking 50P might be a bit hardcore for a stream right? Am I better off rendering out this footage as interlaced? Has anyone ever streamed 50P material off a site before? |

All computer screens are PROGRESSIVE; rendering to interlaced will produce a video with ugly interlacing artifacts.
Go for PROGRESSIVE. And what is your video source? If it's 25i, there is no need to encode to 50P, make it 25P. |

Video source is 50fps shot on my EX1. Just wanted to keep it that way because of the fast movement in the clip with the skateboarding and so on. Going to render it down to probably 640x360 resolution from the original 1280x720.
