Compressor (DVDSP 2) problem
I am having to re-compress the video of my movie, and every time I bring the FCP movie I made of it into Compressor, I get an exclamation point, meaning something is wrong.
Any ideas? This is happening with other video stuff I've tried to test with. Didn't happen before this... also, network is off, computer is booted up from being "cold." heath

Change the destination folder or move the already encoded files out of it as you cant write over files that already exist.
So if you have myfile.m2v in a folder called MPEG2 then you cant get compressor to encode a file called myfile.m2v in MPEG2 again until you move/rename the original myfile.m2v. It's to stop you writing over movies by mistake I guess. As soon as you do that or choose a different folder then you should be fine, Jake |

No dice, still having problems. Tried using DiskWarrior 3, but it's not booting up at all on the G5...Can't compress via compressor, can't import menus. I'm ready to abort and pay $400 to a company to do it for me.
