Hi Brian.
The 4cc says 'n.a'. Doing the view, database, video, i get a big list but i'm not sure which one of the list i want? sorry for being so dumb. edit: 'Stream type and A/V interleave' says 'Type: Video/Mpeg' |

Well, at least that confirms that the file is mpeg of some kind.
The easiest way to solve this now, I think, would be to run GSpot on your sister's or friend's computers, hit "render", and see what codec chain it uses for video. That will identify the piece that you're missing. |

Just install a (demo) DVD player software like Power/WinDVD.
This will install the necessary MPEG2 filters that should allow playback of the file.
