Good place for cases/labels?
I'm filming a school musical in a couple of days and it sounds like I could also do the duplication for extra money. I will probably be copying around 200 or so DVDs, give or take some. While this seems a little daunting to me, I think I can knock it out in a few days.
Are there any places online that y'all prefer to get the DVD movie cases, sleeves and labels? I've looked around some and see a pack of 100 movie cases for around $30, but the paper sleeves are nearly that same amount for the same quantity. This will add up fast. With jewel cases, sleeves, labels, media and ink for my deskjet, I could easily be spending a couple hundred dollars on this. I think it could be worth my time on the return, but I want to find a good place that has this stuff that won't charge me a small fortune. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Don't know if i can say this on the forum cause all the sponsor stuff, but I get media from a place called Super Media Store.
For 100 discs: $30 for printable DVD-Rs $30 for cases (clear so DVD labels show through) ≈$10 for ink ≈$70 for 100 $.70 a disc isn't really that bad. I figure about $1/disc for your situation. Personally, I think spending the extra dime a disc is worth it to provide a nice DVD case over paper sleeves. Good luck on that copying job! |

Ok, thanks, I'll check out that store. Yeah, I didn't really mean sleeves, I was referring to the inserts that go into the cases. I will be using a normal (or slim) movie case for each DVD, so obviously I want something printed on the outside of the case.
Are the any other stores that have similar prices? Is Ebay an option? |
