Best definition?
What is the best definition a normal dvd can achieve. I recently purchased a normal dvd that was 720p. Or atleast that is what my tv said it was being displayed as. Anyways if 720p is the best how do I achieve this? Do I have to shoot in High Def then down convert it to 720p? Or do I shoot in standard definition and render it as 720p. Please be patient with me I'm kind of a newb at this stuff.

If it was a normal DVD I would assume your player or TV was upconverting it for play back. My TV says that my dvds are HD when I play them off of the PS3. I made them, so I would know if they were HD. But the PS3 scales it to an HD size.
