screening movie through projector from laptop
ok so i have a premiere for my feature film on saturday and we are screening it in this lecture hall with a projector and everything. I went and checked it out today and i will be projecting a 720p version from a laptop to the projector. it is plugged to the projector through vga ports. anyways part of the vga port has a sound plug i hooked up to the laptop. the image was amazing but the sound not so great the sound comes from the speakers above. im wondering if it is just the laptop sound being projected through the theaters speakers. or if its the speakers. cuz it sounded like blown out laptop speakers. im going back tomorrow to hook up better speakers to the laptop and then hook the projector up to those better speakers to see if its a difference. any ideas? sorry i dont even know if this is the right forum.

I may be wrong but it sounds like its related to incorrect
or insufficient sound amplification. Go to the audio topic, the guys will talk you through it. |
