Glass Mastered Discs
If you were going to have a disc glass mastered, what would you set your max bps at when you render it out to mpeg2? I usually only set the max at around 7.4/7.6 bps when rendering out for a +/-R just because standard home dvd players have a harder time reading -/+R's at a higher rate....But I have heard that with a pressed /glass mastered disc, you can max out the bps and players have an easier time reading a higher bit rate off a glass mastered disc than a std. +/-R. Any truth to this matter?

I max the video out at about 7.5 CBR for 1 hour DVDs and let the PCM audio make up the balance. Has worked well for me.
